Abu-Ghazaleh Inaugurates Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center at Saint George Greek Melkite Cathedral

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh inaugurated Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center at Saint George Greek Melkite Cathedral for the Greek Catholic Scout Guides in a special ceremony which followed Sunday's mass and attended by the Christian community in Jordan.

The Center will create an opportunity for Christian youth to use the latest technology engineered by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), the global organization for professional services and education through TAGITOP, a state-of-the-art netbook donated generously by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for the Greek Catholic Scout Guides.

Archim. Bassam Shahateet, Episcopal of Roman Melkite Catholics welcomed Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and thanked him for the generous gesture presented to the youth and the scout saying: "We have always considered HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh a close friend and supporter of the Christian community; the Center will light the way to the youth and provide them with a space to learn and develop their skills."

Speaking to the crowd, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that the youth are the future "the next leaders for a better society." "We have always been devoted to the needs of youth due to our strong faith in their skills and this Center represents one of the tools for them to develop their abilities and become the next leaders for a better society," he said.

"We have established hundreds of knowledge centers around the Kingdom and they have proven to be very beneficial to the society as youth are able to learn in a very relaxed and educational environment. I thank you for sharing this moment with us and let us wish our youth the best for our future," he added.

It is worth noting that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh will be heading to Rome to meet the Pope and will present an initiative which focuses on "Love, Happiness and Kindness," and will visit the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies.
